Kathy qualified as a Nurse and a Midwife and completed a Masters in Nutritional Medicine. Kathy has worked in the pharmaceutical sector developing and implementing health management programmes for patients in primary care and public health settings. Kathy is excited by research into The Early Origins of Health and Disease, the impact of nutrition and lifestyle in the 1st 1,000 days on health later in life. Kathy is keen to integrate the “Early Life” science and evidence into everyday life including public health policy, and support strategies to reduce the risk of non-communicable diseases including obesity and cardiovascular disease.
